Haikou Mingju Carving

Established in 2012, Haikou Mingju Carving Co. Ltd. is a professional company integrating the inheritance, research and development, protection and production of coconut carving. Since its establishment, the company has been committed to inheriting and disseminating Hainan coconut carving culture.

Wu Mingju, the inheritor of the company, has been invited to participate in cultural exchanges at home and abroad and major exhibition activities for many years, especially in Australia, Seychelles and Africa to teach coconut carving skills, the "Chinese Cultural Street" event in Malta, Europe, Shanghai World Expo, Boao Forum in Asia, the production protection achievement exhibition of China's intangible cultural heritage, the 2014 World craft and Culture Festival in Dongyang, and Macao. He has revitalized the ancient cultural art which once was a tribute to the imperial city.
