Tropical Darwin is Easy to Get Around

YOUR GUIDE TO GETTING AROUND DARWIN

Darwin is a fantastic place to live – just ask the people that came for a year and stayed for life!

It’s pretty easy to get around the lifestyle here - and it’s even easier to get around!

Bus: Public buses are affordable, running between the City, Casuarina and Palmerston. There’s even an NT Bus Tracker app to see if they’re on time!

Taxi: Taxis are reliable and easy in Darwin. There are still Taxi ranks or they can be pre-booked online or via telephone – 131008 for Darwin Radio Taxis, and 138294 for Blue Taxi Company

Uber: Use app as normal

Ferry: You can get the SeaLink ferry to Tiwi and to Mandorah, check the timetable for reliable times & departure locations.

Neuron (eBike & Scooter): Thanks to Neuron introducing their eScooters and now bikes – it’s as easy as downloading an app and scooting all over the city. You can scoot from the CBD to Cullen Bay and Fannie Bay, and ride the bikes all the way to Nightcliff.

Bike: If you have your own – there are over 70km of bike paths across the city, along the coastline and on the side of the highways.

Car: Getting around Darwin and finding a park is a breeze. There are affordable and easy parking options in the city, and it is FREE on weekends!
