We are located on the traditional lands of the Larrakia people. A welcoming history of friendliness and foreign relations began with the Larrakia people. To the Larrakia, Darwin is known as Garramilla.

Darwin is where Aboriginal culture meets one hundred other cultures. We are a truly multicultural city, with fifty five per cent of the community speaking two languages.  

From across Australia and around the world, we arrive with nothing but ideas, ambitions, and a stronger than average sense of adventure. We want to take a risk, to start again, to try something new.
